From the overwhelming avalanche of things deemed unclear by all the pundits of the popular media, it has become very clear that we have entered a New Age - "The Unclear Age". Everything which was once, and not so long ago, simply and clearly unknown has now become unclear. |
|
Opinions among the experts are - perhaps predictably, and according to temperament - sharply divided. Some are convinced that this is a very positive development in cognition - that what was formerly unknown has now become merely unclear - and that it - the merely unclear - would be clear if we could only make out what is was. In other words, there has been an increase in cognition, and although we do not know any more, from the formerly unknown to the merely unclear.
Others, on the other hand, believe that it is a negative development - that the previously and clearly unknown has become unclear, and that the unclear has replaced what was formerly clearly unknown.
It is unclear, at this time, which, if any, of these assessments is correct, and which is not, or whether both may hold true, as the case may be. Perhaps, and undoubtedly, the unclear will become clear in time, according to the former, whereas the latter are convinced that the unclear will spread from the clearly unknown and infect, so to speak, more than just the simple and formerly clearly unknown.
Going forward, and by the end of the day, it is unclear right now whether the unclear and formerly unknown will remain unclear, and the unclear will spread from the unknown, or whether the unclear will become clear - and perhaps, failing this, even unknown - in time. |
