Arising, as it does, out of the root-core of our universe itself, the law of Progressive Complexity (the law which drives all Growth and Evolution) is indisputable proof that this universe contains a plan and a purpose. This means that this is a created universe, that there is a Creator who is, of necessity, eternal and immortal, and whose existence transcends the comings and goings of universes. Naturally then, this is also a "Cosmic God", rather than a terrestrial, and never mind a denominational "God". |
And so are we. At the core of our being - which is a nanoscule 'spark' of the essence of the Creator - we too are eternal and immortal souls, whose existence also transcends the comings and goings of universes. What we commonly perceive as our 'souls' is most obviously visible in the lively 'spirit' of 4 and 5 year-olds. From then on we get more and more wrapped up in our earthly affairs, until very little visible evidence of our souls remains.
We now come to the crux of the matter. The Muslim suicide terrorists are told that they go to heaven when they die - which is absolutely correct. "Heaven" is the trans-cosmic dimension where all eternal souls come from and return to, after their earthly sojourns. So, and within an instant of their death, they find themselves indeed in Heaven - but along with, and 'face to face' with all the other souls they've just killed - all of whom are hopping mad for having been ripped out of their lives so capriciously and horribly by these misguided individuals.
Worse, and instead of the eternal honour and glory they have been promised, the terrorists' souls now owe a life to each and every one of the souls they've killed. If they have taken a life, their souls chose to give a life, in order to experience for themselves what it is like to be killed, and to balance the debt to the other soul. And the only life they can give is their own. So, and in hundreds, and thousands of lives yet to come, these terrorists will be giving their lives - over and over again, and in all the horrible ways their victims died - to balance their debts to these souls.
This, the eternal soul's need to pay, make good and balance all its debts to other souls, lies at the root of the ancient teaching of "karma", and of the meaning of "a tooth for a tooth, and an eye for an eye".
This, then, is what really happens - as the departed know all too well now - and I wish that someone would tell the terrorists about this, for I would not wish the sheer magnitude of such a horrible burden on any soul.
Would this knowledge make any difference? Of course; if the terrorists knew what really awaits them 'on the other side' - and the immensity of the debt they will accumulate as the consequence of their actions - they won't do it.
