A Natural Remedy for Heart Disease |
 |
The daily fish diet is a highly effective natural remedy for heart disease - with wonderful 'side effects'. They 'fix' the whole system. Again, here is more scientific proof - and "concrete evidence" in the investigator's words - of the supreme effectiveness of the daily seafood dietary routine. |
| |
As usual, however, the academic focus is still upon one or two therapeutic agents - upon the omega 3 fatty acids in fish oil in this instance - and the investigators still remain completely unaware that the effective agents are the complete natural range of the 72+ trace elements in the fish oil, as in all seafood. That the 72 + trace elements are the active agent is proven by the fact that a pure 72+ trace elements nutritional supplement achieves the same results, although the additional omega 4 fatty acids, as well as many other complex compounds in seafood provide the best results.
By far the better solution than the author' recommendation to put fish oil in other foods, and to genetically modify crops, is the provision of the 72+ natural trace elements in agricultural soils, and consequently, in all of our daily food.
Nevertheless, her suggestion to add fish oil to other foods is a novel idea which had not occurred to me. This will take some ingenuity in food preparation but - like anchovies on pizza (which I love) - it could result in very tasty food.
The original synopsis:
Fish Prevents Heart Disease
Chocolate and other fatty foods can help to reduce the risk of heart disease if they are laced with fish oil, researchers claim. Oils contained in fish like tuna, salmon, herring and mackerel can help reduce the problems that lead to heart attacks by widening vessels and preventing blood clots. Experts say that eating fish four times a week has measurable benefits to the body's vascular system and suggest adding fish oil, unappetizing on its own, as an ingredient in fatty foods.
Prof. Jill Belch, of Dundee University, in the UK who led the almost $1 million research said: "We now have concrete evidence to show that fish oils - taken regularly over a prolonged period - are good for you. We have to be realistic and have to accept that a lot of people will not increase their intake of fish. Therefore, we want to be able to give them some food they normally eat but enhanced with fish oil. If you put fish oil into a bar of chocolate and make it taste nice, we would really get an impact on health."
Prof Belch said that the findings were important as it was the first study of its kind done on human volunteers. She also suggested adding fish oil to bread and milk and modifying crops so that they contained components of it. Source: Health Mall - www.healthmall.com - Nov. 27. 2000
