Effectiveness
Since there are many other causes of diseases - infections, genetic, industrial and chemical contamination of our environment and food, agricultural and horticultural poisons in our environment and food, lifestyle (smoking, drinking, addictions), psychological and temperamental (habitual anger, resentment, etc.), the daily seafood routine does not work for everyone, nor for all diseases.
|
However, the deficiency or lack of 60 vitally important in our daily food is a major cause of many diseases - a cause that is just beginning to be recognized by the biomedical sciences - and the daily seafood routine is supremely effective against an astonishing wide range of diseases, including many diseases now thought 'incurable'.
And since the complete range of the 72+ trace elements in our nutrition dramatically improve our 'general' health, they also have a very positive impact on all the other causes of diseases as mentioned above.
Another chief determining factor of the effectiveness of the daily seafood routine is whether the disease, or diseases are "early onset" or "late onset" diseases. We'll consider all these various factors here, beginning with the difference between "early onset" and "late onset" diseases.
Early versus Late Onset diseases
These are highly and intricately complex issues, and only a very basic outline can be given here. The crucial difference between "early onset" and "late onset" diseases is genetic in origin.
"Late Onset". In the majority of all cases of late onset of diseases - in middle age or later - the victim has inherited a sound set of genes from his or her parents, and the disease, or diseases, are caused by the slow degeneration of his or her vital functions due to the lack or deficiency of over 60 vitally important trace elements in our daily nutrition (the majority of cases), by chemical and industrial pollutants in our environment and food (another important cause), or by lifestyle habits, such as drinking and smoking.
If the degeneration of vital body functions is due to the lack or deficiency of the 60+ missing trace elements - the major cause of a great many chronic and 'incurable' diseases, as well as some cancers - the daily seafood routine is supremely effective against these conditions. In most cases by far, the daily seafood routine will eliminate these diseases in about 3 months, and prevent the occurrence of these diseases. Presently, and at a guess, this covers about 80% of the most common late onset diseases.
For all other causes of late onset diseases, the daily seafood dietary routine will be ineffective against the disease itself, but will result in a very substantial and very marked increase in general health. It will prevent the incidence of diseases caused by the lack or deficiency of the nutritional trace elements, and result in a marked reduction of the incidence of colds, influenza, asthma and allergies, for instance.
"Early Onset". In almost all cases the 'early onset' of chronic and degenerative diseases - in childhood or youth - are caused by the inheritance of one set of healthy genes from one parent, and a set of defective genes from the other parent, in most cases due to a trace element deficiency in one of the parents.
The daily seafood routine is ineffective against the genetic cause of these diseases themselves, but will also generate a very substantial increase in general health (as mentioned above). More about this a little later; see SARAH'S STORY in these pages.
[ Embryos which have inherited two defective set of genes, one from each parent, are not viable and will abort spontaneously, or are still born ].
Infections and Infectious Diseases
The daily seafood routine is highly effective at preventing infections and infectious diseases. It appears that the trace element silver, which currently remains unrecognized and is still 'unknown' in the medical sciences - never mind maintained in agricultural soils - is a potent agent against a wide range of infections, and particularly so against viruses.
Silver is known as 'toxic' to our system. This is not quite true. Silver is a natural component - albeit in miniscule amounts - of all 'wild' plant and animal organisms, including all seafood. And while definitely toxic to us in larger amounts, the toxicity of the ultra-miniscule amount of silver in all 'wild' plant and animal tissue is absolutely deadly to all microorganism, such as bacteria, and especially so viruses.
Since silver is not maintained in the soil by our modern agriculture, all of our agriculturally grown food has become severely deficient in silver. Consequently, we now have a severe deficiency in the ultra-miniscule amount of silver our bodies need in order to defend themselves against these invading microorganism. It is as if our bodies have an impenetrable defense ring of highly sophisticated and super accurate canons - but no ammunition.
Do not even think about supplementing silver in your body! It will kill you!
Today, and in the absence of food grown in soils containing trace elements of silver, a daily serving of seafood is the only really safe source.

Environmental Pollution and Contamination
While the daily seafood routine is ineffective against these assaults to our and our children's health - the very small are the most affected - the massive "general" health benefits it causes puts our bodies in a far better position to minimize the effects of these now pervasive assaults on our health.
Addictions
The daily seafood routine is ineffective against addictive behavior (smoking, drinking, drug abuse). However, it does substantially improve the "general health" of these people - as indicated above.
Psychological and Temperamental Causes
Many diseases are psychological and 'temperamental' in origin. The 'gnawing feeling in our guts" caused by habitual anger, resentment, vindictiveness, and so forth also "gnaw" just as much at our health. It does make us sick and it is a valid cause of many diseases. Acquiring a more equitable, even 'sunny' disposition is the only cure.
And while the daily seafood routine is ineffective against diseases caused by these temperamental factors, it does result in a substantial improvement of "general" health, and this included mental health.
As demonstrated by the neural diseases, the deficiency or lack of over 60 trace elements in our daily nutrition also affects our minds. As is also well known, lithium tempers the severe mood swings of Manic Depressive Disorder - and lithium is not maintained in agricultural soils, but is plentiful in all seafood.
Consequently, the daily seafood nutritional routine may well result in an improvement of disposition and help to lead to a more equitable temperament.
The hair-raising situation is that the endemic nutritional lithium deficiency in the general population has now begun to manifest in the sharp increase of the well known instances of extremes in behavior. We are slowly going 'nuts'. Even more ominous is the fact that our political and military leaders are not exempt.
Inherited and Acquired Genetic Defects
While the daily seafood routine is largely ineffective against inherited genetic defects, it is supremely effective against the acquired genetic defects caused by the lack of over 60 vitally important trace elements in our daily nutrition.
Due to this massive trace element deficiency, and over the course of years, many of us acquire genetic defects - the cause of many, many diseases, which then become 'genetically' driven. Exactly how this happens is described in the powerful breakthrough article "Zinc Fingers", Scientific American, February 1993. The powerful and directly nutritionally related information in this article should be familiar to all people on this Earth. I've posted a brief outline of this article in REFERENCES in these pages.
Also, for an outline why some people get sick while others don't, see "Uncovering New Clues to Cancer Risk" in REFERENCES
Birth Defects
While ineffective against birth defects - it's too late, the damage has been done in utero - the daily seafood nutritional routine is supremely effective at preventing a wide range of nutritionally caused birth defects (see "Zinc Deficiencies In Rats" in REFERENCES). It is vitally important that all prospective mothers should be fully aware of this.
A major indicator of the validity of these statements is provided by the people of Japan, whose traditional diet has included one or several daily servings of seafood since time immemorial. Today, Japan can be considered just as, and perhaps more polluted than the Western world, yet its people enjoy the longest life span in the world, and the incidence of many common and widespread diseases is often dramatically lower in Japan than in the western world.
As is well known, the incidence of breast cancer in Japan is 5 times lower than in the western world. Celebrovascular diseases are almost 50% lower in Japan than in North America. Chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases are 40% lower in Japan than North America. Cancer of the trachea, bronchus, lungs is 67% lower in Japan than North America. Unipolar major depression is 26% lower in Japan than in North America. Multiple Sclerosis is extremely rare in Japan. And menopausal problems and osteoporosis are practically unknown among Japanese women.
The proof that the complete natural range of the 72+ trace elements in all seafood is the crucial factor is provided by the 72+ nutritional trace element supplements. These supplements, despite all their shortcomings and cautions (see SUPPLEMENTS in these pages), eliminate diseases just as effectively as a daily serving of seafood does.
And as described in SARAH'S STORY, there is even some evidence that the complete range of the 72+ trace elements can have powerful beneficial effects against some early onset diseases. This is rather puzzling, and only two possibilities come to mind.
The first possibility is very troubling. Since 'Sarah's diseases began to manifest at the age of 17, but responded well, if slowly, to the daily 72+ trace element nutritional routine, it is possible that her diseases were not caused by an inherited genetic defect, but by an acquired genetic defect - at a much earlier age than usual. The very troubling aspect is the possibility that people are beginning to acquire genetic defects at a much earlier age than was usual until now. The good aspect is that these diseases respond well to the daily 72+ trace elements nutritional routine.
The other possibility is that she did inherit a genetic defect from one of her parents, giving her a 'good' and a 'bad' gene in her genetic make-up. Now then, the law of natural selection in all of Nature shows us that healthy organisms survive longer and have more offspring than defective organisms. The same holds true for the cells of our bodies. It is possible then that the cells expressing the bad gene were slowly replaced by the longer lived and more prolific healthy cells. |
